Dear Imolites, i feel for you people
Who elects the kind of Leaders we have in Nigeria? Is it we the people or them the leaders?
I understand that the question sounds weird or strange to a Nigerian that wakes up on the Election day, take his/her bath, put on a cloth and zoom off to the election ground, stand on the queue and cast his/her vote. To them, it's not normal to ask such kind of question because they believe that they voted and if their candidate won, then their vote was counted.
If we voted for them or our votes kept them there, can we recall them or leave them there because we voted what we wanted.
I keep wondering where we all got it wrong, and each time I think about one example of were we got it wrong, Governor Rochas Okorocha will pop up. His Position as the Governor of Imo state have contributed to the underdevelopment of Imo state. Not one single Project that will benefit the people of Imo state have been initiated and completed.
To him, Project implementation and execution starts and ends on pages of Newspapers. Just last month, we saw how he unveiled the statue of South African President Jacob Zuma and in few days to come, we hear that the statue of the Liberian President is next to be unveiled.
What are the importance of these unnecessary spending to the life of Imolites?
It is sad to note that the people who elected what they now have today in Imo state as Governor have remained silent and blind to the happenings in the state.
May God help us to make the right choice come 2019.
