WhatsApp Business App and Tips
Step 1: Go to Android Playstore and look up & download the "WhatsApp Business" app
(I don't know if a similar app exists for Apple users but feel free to check it out)
Step 2: After downloading the app, install like you'd usually install any app and use the normal whatsapp procedure to activate your new whatsapp business account.
Now, remember that the number you should use in registering this Whatsapp business shouldn't be your regular/usual whatsapp line.
Why?
Reason 1: Business branding entails that, you as much as possible, separate the individual from the business.
Reason 2: When registering your whatsapp business account, at the prompt where you'd be asked to input your display name, whatever name you put in there is PERMANENT
Step 3: Congratulations on registering your Whatsapp Business Account.
Now, here are a few tweaks.
Find your way to "settings" and locate "Business Settings"
There are a whole lotta things I'd like to show you.
First Tweak:
SEND AWAY MESSAGE
Like the description says, it automatically sends an automated message when someone send your business whatsapp line a message and you are "away".
You can configure to suit your taste and SAVE
Second Tweak:
GREETING MESSAGE
When someone hits your Whatsapp Business line for the 1st time or after 14 days of your last convo with the sender.....just before you personally/physically answer the sender's message, your GREETING MESSAGE welcomes the person.
